General Guidelines for Maintenance of your Health and
For Getting Cured from Diseases

1. Get up early in the morning.
2. Have shower or bath in morning and / or in evening. Never have shower or bath after taking food or during night time (while going to bed).
3. Don't use hot water to wash head.
4. Eat only when you are hungry.
5. Concentrate on your food only, while taking food and not on anything else such as, watching TV, reading, chit chatting, listening to music, etc.
6. The mind should be in pleasant state while taking food.
7. Fill 1/3 part of your stomach with solid  food (not so heavy), 1/3 part with liquid and keep 1/3 part empty.
8. Don't take food too hastily or too slowly.
9. Don't consume any food article in excess quantity, e.g. more consumption of sweet / sour / salty etc.
10. Never eat yogurt / curd during dinner. Even consumption during lunch shouldn't be frequent and also not in much quantity. (It's not good in summer, spring and autumn too).
11. Avoid combinations of fruits with milk i.e. Milkshakes,  ice creams with fruits etc., salt with milk, milk and curds / butter milk etc. Avoid excess use of cheese, tomatoes, potatoes. Butter, ghee, rice, honey, wholemeal bread, pulses, vegetables are better options. Lamb is a better option to red meat and chicken.
12. Avoid excess drinking of water. The quantity should be a few sips at a time to satisfy the thirst . Avoid cold drinks, ice creams in winter.
13. Eat fruits before meals or in between meals. But do not consume fruits or deserts after meals.
14. Have regular exercise and yoga.
15. Always be on a right path to achieve happiness and satisfaction. Think of your life as a whole, your capacities, likings, favorable / unfavorable conditions, goals, objectives and then proceed in a proper direction.
