Courses in Tilak Maharashtra Vidyapeeth

Tilak Maharashtra Vidyapeeth is a “Deemed to be University” working in the field of Ayurveda, since 1921.The following are the activities of the Late Vaidya. P. G. Nanal Department of Ayurveda.

A)  Courses: 
i)   Introduction to Ayurveda
ii)   Diploma in Yoga and Ayurveda (Basic)
iii) Diploma in Yoga and Ayurveda (Advanced)
iv) Diploma in Abhyanga Mardana Tantra (i.e. an art of Ayurvedic Massage )  
v)  Ph.D. in Ayurveda

Common information about above courses for foreigners:-

1. Student visa is a must for getting admission to any of the above courses.

2. Admission procedure

1. Student has to apply to the University to get admission to a course.
2. University will provide an eligibility certificate to the student stating that he/she is eligible to get admission to a certain course provided he/she possesses a student Visa.
3. On the basis of the above letter the student is entitled to get a student Visa.
4. Student has to approach to the University with all above and other required documents and apply in a prescribed form.
5. The student has to undergo medical test prescribed by the University before confirming the admission.
6. If he/she has completed the above procedure and submitted the valid documents his/her admission will be confirmed on payment of necessary fees.

3 Student accommodation: At present students accommodation facility for foreign students is not available in the University.

ii)  Literary research The “Trikskandha-Kosha” Project

C) Clinical Work:  Two Ayurvedic O. P. D. s 

Personal Teaching

It will better for the person who wishes to know Ayurveda, takes admission to the courses of Tilak Maharashtra Vidyapeeth. In case of any difficulty, only for deserving students, I may spare an hour a week to teach Ayurveda.  

A series of lectures in a stipulated time of 2-3 weeks can be given to a group of students abroad for a particular subject like maintenance of health according to Ayurveda etc. People interested in such an activity may please contact us.
